Oetztal recordings

Ötztal-Bahnhof, a small town with a population of 1.400, is located at 704 m above sea level in the Tyrolean Upper-Inn-Valley - a major traffic artery for the East-West-Traffic between Innsbruck and the Arlberg as well as an important route of the Austrian high-voltage grid. Located at the entrance to the Ötztal, its railway station serves as a transfer hub for the buses to the Ötztal and all long-distance trains stop there.

In addition to the East-West traffic, part of the Upper-Inn-Valley is also used for the transalpine north-south traffic, as in ancient times the Via Claudia Augusta, that passed directly to Ötztal-Bahhof.
